Recorded messages let you compose and replay separate turns. A live conversation needs a different check: whether the service notices when you begin speaking and lets you take the floor. Verify the available mode in the actual product; this guide does not confirm WantYou voice features.
Run a short device check
In a private place, test a harmless sentence such as “The archive closes at six.” Check the selected microphone and speaker, audible playback, and any displayed transcript. If a transcript exists, compare it with your sentence before evaluating the reply.
Try interruption only where supported
During a live reply, try to speak and observe whether playback stops or your words are ignored. Record the device, browser, mode, and result. A failure on one setup does not by itself identify the cause or establish that every device fails.
Check costs before extending the call
